The Vittoriale degli Italiani has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 300,000 visitors in 2024. This ambitious goal, set by the Foundation and its president Giordano Bruno Guerri, was reached swiftly following a challenging period marked by the pandemic. In 2021, the Vittoriale recorded only 179,047 visitors due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The achievement was celebrated with a symbolic gesture: a visitor from Trieste, Cinzia Bianchi, received a lifetime entry for two to the Vittoriale. The event took place on Saturday, December 28, at 11:41 AM, when the Bianchi family entered the Parco D’Annunziano.
Recognition of Passion and Commitment
Giordano Bruno Guerri stated: “This achievement is owed to those who work in and for the Vittoriale… We will continue to be a cultural engine and work enthusiastically to make the visit an increasingly extraordinary experience.” The continuous growth in visitor numbers not only confirms the effectiveness of the strategies implemented but also reflects the daily commitment of the staff who welcome the public to this place rich in history and beauty.
The Vittoriale has also received significant recognition from the Museums Observatory managed by BVA–Doxa. An analysis of online reviews regarding Italian museums revealed that the Vittoriale ranks first for the emotions it evokes in visitors and for the professionalism and courtesy of its staff. As a token of appreciation for this achievement, employees will receive special awards.
Institutional Recognition
Francesca Caruso, Councillor for Culture of the Lombardy Region, emphasized the importance of this achievement: “Surpassing 300,000 visitors in 2024 is a milestone that demonstrates how this house museum represents an Italian excellence… I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations to President Giordano Bruno Guerri.” Her words highlight how the Vittoriale is not just a tourist destination but also a cultural landmark capable of attracting visitors from all over the world.
A Promising Future
With these excellent results, the Vittoriale degli Italiani reaffirms its status as a house museum that captivates and moves its guests. The Foundation continues to work on innovative projects aimed at promoting local and national culture. Looking to the past with respect and admiration, it prepares to create new cultural opportunities for future generations.
