Volotea Launches Verona–Aalborg Route, First Flight to Northern Europe

Volotea launches a new Verona–Aalborg route, adding a weekly service to its 2026 Verona plan. The inaugural flight departs today from Verona Catullo, providing a direct link to Northern Europe and aiming to boost Danish tourism to Verona and Northern Italian cities of art.

Valeria Rebasti, International Market Director at Volotea, said the route strengthens Verona’s international offering. For 2026, Volotea plans to serve 21 destinations from Verona, including Italian cities such as Alghero, Cagliari, Catania, Comiso (new 2026), Lampedusa, Olbia, Palermo and Pantelleria, and international destinations such as Prague, Aalborg (new 2026), Paris Orly, Athens (new 2026), Heraklion, Karpathos (new 2026), Zante, plus Spanish cities Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Minorca (new 2026), Malaga (new 2026) and Seville.
