Volotea Restores Verona–Comiso Route with Twice-Weekly Flights

Volotea resumes its Verona–Comiso route with twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Fridays until the end of October, enhancing connectivity to southern Italy. The airline also announced new routes for 2026, including Aalborg in April and flights to Karpathos, Athens, Menorca, and Malaga from August, alongside increased frequencies to Italian destinations such as Alghero, Cagliari, Catania, Olbia, and Palermo.

The return of direct flights to Comiso expands options for Verona travelers heading to southeastern Italy. Volotea’s 2026 network from Verona will include 21 destinations across Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Denmark, and the Czech Republic, with Comiso being a new addition. The expansion was highlighted by company and airport representatives, emphasizing strengthened connections to the south.
