Volunteers Step Up on Lake Garda

On 31 July 2026, the “Gruppo Volontari del Garda” was visited at its headquarters in Cunettone di Salò by Brescia provincial police chief Paolo Sartori, accompanied by regional assessors Romano La Russa, Alessandro Beduschi and Diego Invernici, and provincial councillor Carlo Bravo. The meeting highlighted the association’s work, which has been active for over 40 years.

During the visit, the group presented its vehicles, equipment, organisational structure and ongoing projects. The volunteers are involved in health, technical and lake rescue operations, as well as civil protection activities in support of the local community.
