The vibrant heart of Valtènesi is gearing up for an exciting moment with the 19th National Wine Competition Valtènesi Garda Classico, scheduled for May 16. This prestigious event precedes the historic Wine Fair of Polpenazze, which will take place from May 23 to 26, and serves as an important showcase for local wine excellence. A jury of experts, including renowned oenologists and sommeliers, will evaluate the finest wine expressions from the region, selecting the champions who will later feature in sensory masterclasses during the fair.
The event not only celebrates local food and wine but will also see the participation of Paolo Massobrio, a well-known industry critic, as the guest of honor. Over the four days of the event, attendees will have the unique opportunity to taste the winning wines directly from the producers, allowing them to immerse themselves in the flavors and aromas typical of the Garda territory.
