Winter exercise at Dosso Alto: alpine rescue training
Over the weekend, the winter training exercise of the Alpine Rescue took place successfully at Dosso Alto, involving technicians from the V Delegation of the CNSAS – National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps. The activity was held on the northeast ridge of the mountain, where participants reviewed the procedures for short-rope movement on snowy terrain. During the exercise, a rescue scenario was simulated, in which a mock victim was secured to a stretcher and transported down the central channel to the road using a Sked stretcher, designed for challenging environments. The event featured the presence of four medical personnel and numerous Alpine Rescue Technicians (TeSA) and Alpine Rescue Operators (OSA), highlighting the importance of such exercises in maintaining the operational readiness of rescuers. These activities are part of the ongoing training of operators, combining technical and medical aspects to ensure effective intervention in emergency situations in the mountains. Italian Version
