On January 10, 2025, at 3 PM, a workplace accident occurred at a construction site located in the district of Fasano del Garda in Gardone Riviera. A 44-year-old Italian worker was struck on the head by an aluminum bar that reportedly fell accidentally from the construction site’s crane. Despite the severity of the incident, the man is not in life-threatening condition and has been airlifted to the Civile Hospital in Brescia.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation by the patrol from the Carabinieri Company of Salò, in collaboration with the labor inspectorate of Ats Brescia. Investigators are examining the specific conditions that led to the accident in order to establish any potential responsibilities and ensure safety in local construction sites.
