Gavardo: workplace accident at Better Sushi restaurant A serious incident occurred on the morning of Friday, May 30, at the Gallerie Bennet shopping center in Gavardo, where a 31-year-old employee from Pakistan, working for the “Better Sushi” restaurant, was involved in a workplace accident. The man lost his balance while cleaning the restaurant’s exterior windows from a ladder approximately three meters high, falling and crashing through a plexiglass awning. During the fall, he also struck the restaurant owner, a 52-year-old man.
The alert was triggered just before 11:30 AM with a red code response, prompting the immediate dispatch of two ambulances and a medical car. Due to the severity of the 31-year-old’s condition, air ambulance support was requested for urgent transport to the Civil Hospital of Brescia; his condition is critical but currently not life-threatening. The restaurant owner was transferred to Gavardo Hospital under yellow code. Health technicians from the ATS and law enforcement also arrived on the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident and assess any potential liabilities.
