Toscolano Maderno: workplace accident, air rescue for a 23-year-old worker A serious workplace accident occurred late on Monday, March 10, at the Mosaico paper mill in Toscolano Maderno. Around 11:30 PM, a young worker, aged 23, sustained an injury to his hand while cleaning a machine. His colleagues, noticing the critical situation, immediately alerted emergency services.
Medical personnel arrived on the scene with an ambulance and a medical car, providing initial care to the young man. Due to the apparent severity of the injuries, air rescue from Bergamo was requested to transport him in yellow code to the Civile Hospital in Brescia. Meanwhile, the firefighters from Brescia and the Carabinieri from the Salò Company arrived at the site to initiate the necessary investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident. Fortunately, the young man was discharged from the hospital later that afternoon without any serious trauma to his hand.
