Tragedy in Tignale: Alberto Tedeschi, a 50-year-old construction contractor, died Saturday morning in a workplace accident during the renovation of a building in the Oldesio district. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 10 AM in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta in Gardola. During the collapse of the building’s ceilings, another worker, a 52-year-old Albanian resident of Gargnano, was also injured, and his condition is currently improving.
The communities of Tignale and Gargnano, the hometown of Alberto’s wife, Simona, are united in mourning for the loss of a highly respected individual. The mayor of Tignale recalled his willingness to engage in social activities and his commitment to the community. As a sign of mourning, several religious celebrations and planned festivities have been canceled. Alberto is survived by his wife and three children, along with other family members who are deeply grieving his loss.
