WWF Trentino-Alto Adige Seeks Volunteers at Mezzo Bike Festival to Protect Natura 2000 Site
WWF Trentino Alto Adige is seeking volunteers to staff the finish point at Batteria di Mezzo for the Bike Festival on May 2 and 3. Volunteers will inform cyclists that the Lecceta del Brione area is a Natura 2000 Special Conservation Area, direct them to the reserved trail, avoid entering restricted paths and crossing the olive grove below, and distribute leaflets in Italian and English.
Each shift lasts about three hours. For the two-day event, at least eight volunteers are requested. Parking at Porto S. Nicolò will be reimbursed upon presenting the ticket to coordinators, and the shifts are organized by coordinator Carla.
