The YUUKI KARATE GAME project, promoted by ASD Garda Karate Team, aimed at promoting karate among young children, has come to an end. Master Giovanni accompanied the children from the last year of three kindergartens in Garda on a playful journey into the world of karate.

The activities proposed were adapted to the participants’ age, focusing on karate games and the playful aspect of the discipline. However, all the activities took into account the fundamentals of karate and stimulated memorization skills, spatial awareness, coordination, and balance.

In addition to developing motor skills, the project also promoted respect for rules, fair play, and a spirit of collaboration and sacrifice. The goal was to help children develop awareness of their own bodies and possible movements, while also emphasizing their relationship with others.

The kindergartens Paola di Rosa in Salò, Don A.Merici in Manerba, and Nalini Caccinelli in Moniga enthusiastically participated in the project. The project concluded during the 3rd GARDA LAKE CUP organized by Garda Karate Team at the Castenedolo sports hall.

During the event, a tatami dedicated to children was set up, where they engaged in a course and balloon game. The children were divided into two categories, boys and girls, and were judged by the more experienced athletes of the team. At the end of the trials, all participants received a participation medal, and the top three ranked also received a personalized diploma.

The children’s parents cheered for them, as did some teachers from the school in Manerba who decided to accompany their students in this moment of growth. The mascot YUUKI was a special fan of the young participants.

The project was supported by several sponsors, including Gardesana Bevande SRL in Manerba del Garda, Molina Bassa Società Agricola Vezzola in Padenghe, Poliambulatorio San Bernardino in Salò, and Tonni Scavi in Gavardo.
