55-year-old arrested in Manerba del Garda for resisting a public official

A 55-year-old man, residing in Gavardo but owning a second home in **Manerba del Garda**, was arrested in recent days for **resisting a public official** and reported for carrying objects capable of causing harm. The intervention of the Valtènesi Local Police was necessary after the man became unruly in front of his home, presumably under the influence of alcohol, prompting neighbors to contact the authorities. Upon the arrival of the officers, the 55-year-old briefly retreated into his house before emerging armed with two kitchen knives, threatening the officers.

Thanks to the promptness of the law enforcement, the man was disarmed and restrained. After the arrest, he was held overnight in custody pending a fast-track trial, at the conclusion of which the judge ordered him to be placed under house arrest. Considering his dangerousness, the Chief of Police of Brescia issued a mandatory expulsion order valid for two years, prohibiting access to sports fields and sporting events.
