The Strabilio Festival, dedicated to contemporary circus, will take place from June 29 to September 7, promising to bring art and wonder to seven municipalities in the Valle Sabbia and Basso Garda regions. Organized by the eponymous association under the artistic direction of Davide Vedovelli, the festival features 30 free events in Salò, Casto, Livemmo, Sabbio Chiese, Villanuova sul Clisi, and for the first time, also in Barghe and Bedizzole. The official opening will take place on Sunday, June 29, at 9:15 PM in Salò with the show “Cubulto,” an innovative acrobatic experience that explores themes of identity and challenges the limits of possibility.
The program includes two national premieres: “KOSTÜM” and “ZE3MA* L’AMOUR,” both presented by international artists from France, Belgium, and Morocco. Aiming to enhance the local area through circus arts, the festival also offers workshops for children and a sustainable mobility initiative called “Circo a Pedali,” making each event an opportunity to actively engage the local community.
