San Martino della Battaglia: From August 12 to 16, the Wine Festival Returns. The Sports Center of San Martino d/B in Desenzano will host the 48th edition of the Wine Festival, a wine event organized by the San Martino della Battaglia Sports Group. During this event, visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from various local wineries, including La Rifra and Pilandro, with the aim of promoting the region’s wine excellence. This year, the wine pouring will be managed by event staff to offer a greater variety of labels and enhance the experience for attendees. Every evening, starting at 7 PM, food stalls and a rich program of musical and sporting events will be available.
The inauguration will take place on Tuesday, August 12, with a disco night, and will continue until Saturday, August 16, featuring activities such as briscola tournaments and tribute concerts. In case of bad weather, a “make-up night” is scheduled for August 17. Mayor Guido Malinverno emphasized the cultural significance of the festival, supported by the dedication of local volunteers. This event represents an important opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the local winemaking tradition and to celebrate the community.
