Exploitation of prostitution in Desenzano: clandestine massage centers seized
Desenzano del Garda: Exploitation of Prostitution and Closure of Three Massage Centers. In recent hours, the State Police and the Financial Police have seized three business establishments in the city, believed to be involved in illegal activities related to the exploitation of prostitution. During the inspections, €11,000 was found, considered to be proceeds from the improper receipt of the Citizenship Income by the owner of the businesses. Two undocumented workers were identified, including one illegal immigrant, and significant evidence emerged regarding erotic services offered to clients without any fiscal documentation.
Following the investigations, it was found that from 2020 to 2023, the undeclared earnings exceeded €400,000. Further inspections led to the discovery of three additional undocumented workers, an area used as a dormitory, and a break room within the premises, all characterized by poor hygiene conditions and safety irregularities. The manager has been referred to the Judicial Authority pending trial, while the establishments and the vehicle used for illegal activities have been seized.
