A Liberty exhibition dedicated to modern art will be inaugurated in Brescia on January 24, 2026, at Palazzo Martinengo, and will remain open until June 14 of the same year. The exhibition, curated by Manuel Carrera, Davide Dotti, and Anna Villari, will showcase over 100 masterpieces from private collections and prestigious museum institutions such as the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome. This event is part of the investigation by the Friends of Palazzo Martinengo Association into artistic expressions from the 19th to the 20th century, following the success of the exhibition on the Belle Époque. The exhibition will provide a journey through eight thematic sections that will explore the interactions between painting, sculpture, and other artistic forms of the Liberty period. Among the featured artists are well-known names such as Vittorio Matteo Corcos and Edoardo Rubino. Additionally, elegant garments and advertising posters that reflect the aesthetics of the time will be on display, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in an era marked by profound cultural changes.
