Prada bag theft in Desenzano del Garda: two criminals arrested

Two Peruvian citizens, a 30-year-old resident of Voghera and a 33-year-old from Milan, were arrested by the police after stealing a Prada bag worth 2,400 euros from the “Wise” store in Desenzano del Garda. The incident occurred in recent days when the two attempted to flee without paying, but were noticed by an employee who immediately raised the alarm. Officers from the “Squadra Volante,” present on Lungolago Cesare Battisti, witnessed the scene and pursued the fugitives, successfully apprehending them on the beach at Desenzanino. The investigation revealed that the two individuals had concealed the bag in a backpack before attempting to escape. Surveillance camera footage confirmed their involvement in the theft. After being taken to the police station and subjected to judicial proceedings, both were arrested for aggravated theft and placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Brescia.
