Milan hosts exhibitions of magazines on the history of journalism
From **December 1 to 5, 2025**, the Library on Via Senato in **Milan** will host “Numeri Uno in Mostra,” an exhibition that celebrates the **history of Italian journalism** through the first issues of 150 magazines, selected from the collection of Enrico Redaelli, a renowned art director and historian. The exhibition, curated by Andrea Tomasetig, will officially open on Monday, December 1, at 5 PM, and represents an important opportunity to explore the evolution of Italian periodicals from the 1960s to the present day. After Milan, the exhibition will move to Trieste at Spazio Trart from **December 12, 2025, to January 31, 2026**. The setup is organized into **18 thematic sections**, covering topics ranging from satire to finance, as well as gossip and travel. Among the exhibited pieces are rarities such as the debut issue of Corriere della Sera from 1876. This exhibition not only provides a snapshot of Italian editorial production but also pays tribute to the graphic designers who have influenced the visual identity of magazines. An illustrated catalog accompanies the event, preserving the memory of a significant era in the national publishing landscape. Italian Version
