Food Safety Inspections in Peschiera del Garda: NAS Carabinieri Intervention
On December 16 and 17, Carabinieri from the NAS conducted extraordinary inspections in Peschiera del Garda and surrounding areas as part of an operation to ensure food safety and compliance with labor regulations. The operation involved the Labor Inspectorate Unit and local Carabinieri stations, beginning with checks in a venue in the historic center of Verona, where violations related to workplace safety and contractual practices were identified, resulting in seven individuals being identified and administrative fines imposed.
The following day, inspections continued at a restaurant near Lake Garda, where irregularities were found leading to fines totaling approximately €4,000 and the identification of eleven individuals. Carabinieri operations will extend throughout the Verona province in the coming weeks to uphold legality and quality in services provided to the community.
