Expo Riva Hotel 2024 Showcases Innovation in Hotel Industry and Food Sector

The Palafiere is ready to host a new significant event that will characterize the city in the coming days with a notable hotel industry contribution. This is the 24th edition of Expo Riva Hotel 2000, which will take place from January 30 to February 3.

Next Sunday at 3:00 PM, the inauguration ceremony will be held in the presence of numerous authorities. Over five days, the latest innovations in hotel equipment and related sector products will be on display. A particular highlight this year is the rich calendar of proposals and meetings scheduled during these days.

Launching the event and new features

“It is an event in continuous growth,” emphasized Giovanni Zontini, president of the Palacongressi. “It does not feel its years. This time, the exhibitors number 280, marking a 10% increase compared to last year. This is a concrete demonstration of the interest generated among sector operators.”

The most obvious novelty is the setup in the new structure at Ballerà, where we have revised the distribution of exhibition sectors into homogeneous areas based on product types. These include the food, wine, and foodstuffs sector; large equipment; technology and furnishings; and the supplies for hotels section.

The exhibition space covers 10,000 square meters. The schedule includes various general-interest conferences and an international cooking competition, with teams representing 7 European countries and three Italian hotel vocational schools.

Goals and activities of this edition

Expo Riva Hotel – specifies Pier Giorgio Righi, director of Palacongressi – is primarily aimed at industry operators who now need to elevate their professionalism. However, it also attracts a non-specialist audience. The conferences will range from topics about pets in hotels to sleep quality.”

Some exhibition areas will offer samples of natural cuisine prepared with organic products; tastings of organic wines; and then transition to a section dedicated to foods, grappas, and Trentino wines. All these activities alongside the event aim to promote awareness of natural and quality foods, in full respect of tradition.

40% of the exhibitors at this 24th edition come from 30 Italian provinces.
