Lazise Hosts Family Conference on Values, Community and Future

The value of family is gradually being rediscovered, both from a human and social perspective. In Lazise, this has been discussed by both the parish through the vicariate meeting and the diocesan council, as well as by the family group close to the Associazione Famiglie Italiane.

Now politics is also addressing this theme, which may be considered “fashionable” but is certainly being rediscovered and is entering the appropriate social and community dimension. “It is the core of society,” recently stated Maurizio Bernardi during his well-received speech, a few days ago in Lazise.

The Conference on Family in Lazise

“The family, the 2000, Lazise”: this is the theme of the conference promoted by the Ulivo council group, scheduled for next Saturday at the parish youth center. The proceedings will begin at 9:30 AM with Giovanni Montresor, the minority group leader in the City Council.

The main topics to be addressed by the speakers will be: family as a value across space and time; the beginning of the third millennium: family in Lazise. Finally, can and should the local community intervene?

Speakers include: Maurizio Bernardi, president of the Afi; Dr. Piero Dalle Vedove, expert on family issues; Don Edoardo Sacchella, parish priest of Lazise; and Don Annibale Modella, parish priest of Colà.

All presidents of the main voluntary associations operating within the social community will participate in the event.
