Brenzone’s New Multi-Sport Gym Awaiting Final Permits and Management

It has been a long wait for the residents of Brenzone, but it is still not ready. The inhabitants of the small fractions of the Comune di Brenzone will have to wait a few more months before they can use the “mega” gymnasium recently built at the “Scalette” school in Assenza.

Structural status and permits

“A few more permits are still missing,” reports Giacomo Brighenti, the sports and social affairs councilor, “after which it can be used.”

“Moreover, the gym is usable for all indoor sports but also for other activities, given the equipment it has.”

The structure is actually highly sought after; several sports associations have requested its management.

Management and future projects

“About 90%,” continues Brighenti, “it will be managed by Polisportiva Fiordolivo. We are currently reviewing what kind of agreement to adopt, but a verbal agreement is already in place.”

So, a few more months of waiting; in 2001, Polisportiva, which includes the Yacht Club, the cultural circle, the Sci Club Val Trova, Ciclone del Garda, tennis activities, Judo, and other small clubs, will finally be in charge of managing the desired gymnasium; of course, respecting its primary purpose, which is educational.
