Garda Verona Hosts Bardolino Wine Debate and International Tasting

A discussion-confrontation with Bardolino and other Italian and foreign wines: this is what is proposed today by the Garda veronese branch of Slow Food Arcigota and the Enoteca segreta of Verona at the restaurant Il Giardino delle Esperidi in Bardolino.

Morning Program

Featuring Orchestra, one of the international giants in the wine market, which will already host an aperitif for trade operators and hospitality professionals at 11 a.m., followed by a tasting of foods suitable for the wines offered at 1:30 p.m.

Then, there will be a presentation of a selection of great bottles from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, France, and the United States. At 6 p.m., the event’s public program begins: it will focus on Bardolino and its positioning in the international wine market.

Discussion and In-Depth Analysis

A scheduled conversation conceived by Paolo Masotti, the “inventor” of Enoteca segreta (a kind of online laboratory dedicated to the world of oenology), on the theme “Bardolino: a glorious past… an uncertain present”.

Leading the debate will be Luciano Rappo and Angelo Peretti. At 8 p.m., there will be “Wine by Passion,” an tasting evening aimed at enthusiasts (the participation fee is set at 35,000 lire) to explore the enological universe of Orchestra: once again featuring Italian, European, and New World wines.
