Exposcuolambiente at Lake Garda Highlights Regional Climate Education
The eighth edition of Exposcuolambiente arrives on Lake Garda, an initiative promoted by the Regione Lombardia with the patronage of the Ministry of Public Education and the Environment, the Irrsae Lombardia, and the Regional School Superintendence.
Event details
The event will take place from May 10 to 17 (open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., free admission) at Villa Tassinara. After historically addressing topics such as recycling, reuse, and waste disposal in schools of all levels — said regional councilor Nicoli Cristiani while presenting the exhibition — last year in Iseo, and this year on Lake Garda, we invited students to explore the issue of climate change more deeply.
The motivation stems from the awareness that reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere is the true challenge of 2000s environmentalism. Exposcuolambiente has become a reference point even abroad, as evidenced by ongoing involvement and exchanges of experiences with regions that, together with Lombardia, are part of the 4 Motors for Europe and the Alpe Adria Working Community.
