Brescia Infrastructure Projects: Roads, Bypasses, and Engineering Works
These works amount to 113 billion lira — in addition to the Brescia South Bypass (which alone absorbs 200 billion) — included in the 2000-2005 funding plan.
Roadworks and Completion Projects
1) Third phase of the SS 11 Alternative Route from Urago d’Oglio to Provincial Road 17 (Adro-Chiari-Cizzago): 11) Completion works on the Pisogne-Darfo interchange (510) and Darfo-Edolo (42): 532 million. 1,086 million.
2) Second phase of the same project on the section between Sp 17 and Sp 19 (Ospitaletto-Concesio): 2,481 million.
3) Upgrade of State Road 237 (second phase) in the Sabbio Chiese – Barghe Nord segment: 3,552 million.
4) Requalification of State Road 469 from Palazzolo to Capriolo South (first phase, external variants outside the towns of Palazzolo and San Pancrazio): 6,700 million.
5) Upgrading of State Road 510 in the Sulzano-Marone section (fifth phase): 24,184 million.
6) Upgrading of State Road 42, with a variant around the towns of Niardo, Braone, Ceto and Nadro (fourth phase): 9,600 million.
7) State Roads 42 and 510, variant of Costa Volpino: 6,549 million.
8) Additional completion works on these roads for the connection between Pisogne and Darfo Boario Terme: 716 million.
9) Reinforcement and restoration works on sections of Brescia South Bypass (excluding the broader third lane project): 3,062 million.
10) Maintenance and completion works on the Tormini sections of State Road 45 bis: 860 million.
Engineering Works and Infrastructure
12) Construction of a tunnel between Gargnano and Limone, in Voltino locality, on the 45 bis, to eliminate a slope prone to falling rocks: 40 billion.
13) Upgrading of Provincial Road 4 Tormini Barghe (which will become State Road 237) from Vobarno to Sabbio Chiese: 3,582 billion.
14) Upgrade of State Road 42 with the creation of a variant around the towns of Capo di Ponte, Sellero, and Cedegolo: 10,410 million.
Total works: 113,314 million.
