Cantalago Presents 5th Garda Festival with Music, Shows, and Charity

Following the success of the presentation in Munich on June 4th, Cantalago returned to the Garda region with a presentation at the Assessorato al Turismo della Provincia. In the presence of provincial assessor Ermes Buffoli, patron Enrico Bianchini, and artistic director Andrea Vantini, the entire program for the 5th edition of the ‘Festival del Garda’ was unveiled.

Festival Program and Events

The event is not only a musical festival but also a show, as the evenings will feature various performances such as ballet, cabaret, and selections from the Miss Italia beauty contest. The hosts for each evening are Emanuela Folliero, Samantha De Grenet, Federica Moro, and Adriana Volpe.

In Munich, at the splendid Prinzregenten Theater, before an audience of 1,200 invitees, who were also offered local delicacies from the Garda land, including Baco di Homerus wines, performances included Umberto Tozzi, who performed the best of his repertoire (Gloria, Ti amo, Tu, Gente di mare, Un’altra vita, etc.) alongside some new songs, and the talented show girl Peppi Franzelli.

The first official evening after the German debut is scheduled for Monday, June 26th, at the Teatro Romano di Verona. Five stops are planned across Brescia, at the following locations: Montichiari, Castello Bonoris park, on July 29th with Federica Moro; Sirmione, Piazza Carducci, on August 1st with Emanuela Folliero; Toscolano Maderno, Palafeste, on August 13th with Adriana Volpe; Bedizzole, Casa Rocca – Palazzo Gambara, on August 25th with Samantha De Grenet.

Finally, in Limone, along the lakeside, the final evening will be hosted by Samantha De Grenet with performances by Mal and Cecilia Gayle. Naturally, there will be a social corner selling a CD featuring the best musical productions from the Festival, with all proceeds (ten thousand lire per CD) donated to the Homerus association. The funds will be used to purchase satellite electronic equipment to enable visually impaired individuals to navigate independently.

Alessandro Gaoso, president of the association responsible for successfully flying deaf-blind crews around the world, expressed particular happiness about this initiative. He plans to attend not only in person but also with some of the figures involved in the recent America’s Cup.

It is worth noting that admission to all Cantalago evenings is free of charge.
