Garda Artisans Union Opens New Headquarters to Support Local Craftsmen

The new provincial headquarters of the Union of Artisans of Garda will be inaugurated on Sunday at 11 a.m. at 85 Bernardo Street, in the presence of authorities, Upa managers, and the president of the district, Lucio Ballarini.

Objectives and services of the new headquarters

“We have decided to provide,” explains the same president, “a stable daily point of reference for artisans in the Baldo Garda area. In the new headquarters, in addition to a manager’s presence, artisans will be able to obtain all the necessary information for their businesses, with the aim of becoming an important hub for the development and promotion of craftsmanship and small businesses in the Garda, Baldo, and neighboring municipalities.”

“In particular,” continues Ballarini, “we will address all issues related to the creation of artisan areas, from all business services starting from inception, with Sportello nuova impresa (New Business Desk), to market placement and development, with all our services from Promoexport, to e-commerce, credit, tax assistance, contractual, legal, safety, environment and quality, pensions, social security, healthcare, and many other services. In September, we will begin a union planning initiative in the territory.”

Role of the association and involvement

President Giovanni Tommasi invites all artisans to the inauguration and emphasizes the vitality and importance of craftsmanship in the Baldo Garda area and the intention to become the reference association for artisans in the region.
