Toscolano Fair Returns with Local Crafts, Food, and Entertainment

Once again, in Toscolano, from tomorrow, Sunday the 25th, until June 29th, the ancient fair and market of Saints Peter and Paul will be held.

History and Opening of the Fair

The centuries-old tradition, once an occasion for commercial contacts among farmers and breeders of the Brescia Riviera, is being revived for the seventh time in an updated form.

The inaugural ribbon of the fair will be cut tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Bernini Park.

Activities and Entertainment

Until Thursday the 29th, the day of the town’s patron saints, the park will become a stage for the numerous high-quality local products and craftsmanship of Alto Garda, recreating the atmosphere of the traditional and renowned “fair and market” of the past.

Many entertainment initiatives are planned: stall displays, concerts, sporting performances, ballet dances, and lotteries.

Program for the First Day

Tomorrow’s schedule includes: the fishing competition ” VII Trofeo Bariletti” in Valle delle Cartiere at 8 a.m., a mass at 10, games at the oratory at 3 p.m., the market stalls in Piazza Caduti and Piazza San Giuseppe starting at 5:30 p.m., and a children’s fashion parade in Bernini Park at 9 p.m.

Main Event and Organization

The highlight of the fair will be on Thursday with the setup of a large market within the town.

The event is promoted by “Associazione Amici dello Sport e della Natura nel Parco Alto Garda” in collaboration with the Merchants’ Committee, the municipal administration, the Mountain Community, and the Agriculture Department of the Province.
