Alto Garda Organic Farming Desk Promotes Natural Agriculture Techniques

How to cultivate without using chemical products? What are natural fertilizers? How to protect plants from diseases and harmful insects using only ecological products? Answers to these and other questions can be found at the “Organic Farming Desk“, established at the Agriculture Office of the Comunità del Parco Alto Garda.

Activities and initiatives of the office

The practice of cultivating based solely on natural techniques and products is experiencing a remarkable development on Lake Garda, mainly thanks to the efforts supported by the agricultural office of the Montana Community. This occurs both in terms of dissemination and information, as well as in the area of technical and bureaucratic assistance.

The commitment of the Alto Garda authority materializes through initiatives that offer Alto Garda farmers a rich series of opportunities to approach this new production philosophy. Among these, indeed, is the desk at the Community headquarters (in Villa di Gargnano), directed by Paolo Mor.

The desk is operational every first Thursday of the month, but appointments can also be scheduled on different days. The aim is to provide specific, free advice on organic farming.
