Record-Breaking BMW Z3 Roadster Gathering Sets Italian Attendance Record

Great success in participation and crowd turnout was achieved last weekend in Peschiera del Garda for the most successful Bmw Z3 Roadster gathering held so far this year. As tradition, the event took place alongside the 7th Vintage Boat Rally organized by the Yacht Club del Garda.

The gathering with owners of these splendid convertible vehicles represented the ideal continuation of the historic, gastronomic, and sporting itinerary undertaken during the recent events of the Bmw Auto Club Italia. This explains the victory of the Weltert-Iori pair, who, with the consistency worthy of the best Canè-Galliani, won the event with their Bmw Z3 Roadster 2.8 and can boast three victories in the last three meetings of the Bmw Auto Club Italia.

Registrations exceeded the most optimistic expectations, reaching 70 cars, including no less than 50 Z3 models, making this the most significant Bmw Roadster gathering ever held in Italy. Departing from Peschiera del Garda, the 70 registered participants traveled along an itinerary that crossed our province and the provinces of Verona and Mantova.

In this way, while the five timed regularity tests for the final classification took place, participants could admire the ancient fortified medieval centers of Castellaro Lagusello and Villafranca, as well as a 17th-century Venetian villa near Sona.
