Gardesano Dialect Poetry Contest Launched by Local Cultural Federation

The Federazione delle associazioni gardesane Cultura e ambiente launches a dialect poetry competition in Gardesano dialect.

The association, which brings together 9 organizations with over 1,000 members, in collaboration with the Comunità del Garda, has promoted this unique initiative. The Gardesano dialect is the language spoken and written in the area between the Chiese River, Riva del Garda, the upper Mantua region, and Peschiera.

Participation Guidelines

Each poet may submit 5 original works; handwritten compositions, with Italian translations, should be sent in a sealed envelope to the Secretariat of the Federazione delle associazioni gardesane at via Verdi 19, Padenghe, by the end of July.
