The Green Clean Day will take place in Sirmione on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, and will involve numerous volunteers in cleaning the city’s most important green areas. One of the planned initiatives is the cleaning of the Lido Galeazzi shoreline, which will start at 9:00 am at the Lido Galeazzi Beach Bar. This activity is open to all volunteers who wish to contribute to environmental preservation, and it is recommended to bring work gloves to participate.

Furthermore, starting at 8:00 am, there will be a cleaning of the moat of the Scaligero Castle, organized by various associations including WWF Bergamo-Brescia, Talata Sub, Tritone Sub, and Associazione Giovani Sirmione. This activity aims to preserve one of the city’s most important historical sites, while ensuring a clean and safe environment for visitors.

The Green Clean Day will involve the participation of numerous associations and local entities committed to environmental protection. These include the Environmental and Ecological Commission, WWF, Legambiente, the Alpini Group, Sirmione Servizi, the Youth Association, ProLoco Sirmione, the Sirmione Volunteer Group, and the RAC Desenzano Group. Thanks to the collaboration of these local organizations, the initiative will be able to reach a wide audience and raise awareness among more people about the need to preserve our natural heritage.
