Salògolosa 2023: Food, Wine, and Culture Tour in Salò’s Center

The 3rd edition of Salògolosa will take place next Friday, October 6th. The event will feature a gastronomic-cultural trail through the main streets and characteristic alleys of Salò’s city center, offering visitors high-quality foods and wines from the Garda area.

Award and Tastings

On this occasion, the Joseph Ferrari, a local from Salò who has contributed to promoting Italian food and wine culture worldwide, will be awarded the “Città di Salò” prize.

During a single evening, from 6:00 PM to midnight, attendees will be able to taste dishes prepared by 17 restaurants in Salò and nearby areas, as well as wines from 42 vineyards around Lake Garda and Franciacorta.

Refreshment Stations and Services

There will be twenty refreshment stations, where dishes will be served, many set up inside historic houses and ancient mansions such as the Palazzo del Provveditore, dating back to around 1500.

Visitors (700 attended last spring edition) will receive, in addition to a booklet of 36 coupons (costing L. 70,000), which grant access to 16 wine samples and 20 tastings, a bag containing a tasting glass, a plate, cutlery, a map of the route, and, for good luck, an umbrella: all marked with “Salògolosa”.

Over 36 musicians, stationed along the route, will provide continuous musical background throughout the evening.
