PanEuforico Festival Makes Debut in Riva del Garda at Spiaggia dei Sabbioni
The PanEuforico Festival will take place at Spiaggia dei Sabbioni in Riva del Garda from June 26 to 28, bringing together Pan Festival and Euforia Circus Festival for a three-day programme of shows, workshops, performances and talks. The first edition is titled “Mentite spoglie. La nudità nella società contemporanea,” a theme presented during an official event at Palazzo Martini on June 24.
Festival organisers say the event is designed as an inclusive meeting space for people of all ages, inviting participants to “arrive nude” beyond labels, judgments and social masks. During the press conference, Seesaw association president Veronica Boniotti said the goal is to create a “square” where attendees can be themselves without having to prove anything, using dance, theatre, contemporary circus and discussions to explore wellbeing and health through art. The initiative is supported by local partners and institutions including the Comune di Riva del Garda, Fondazione Caritro, Provincia autonoma di Trento and Apt Garda Dolomiti, with artistic direction from Euforia Circus Festival’s Miriana Nardelli and participation from city officials including deputy mayor Barbara Angelini and culture councillor Stefania Pellegrini.
The schedule includes circus and dance events such as Théâtre Circulaire’s “Porte-à-Faux,” Vertik & Dance’s “Giococirco,” and multiple Tango Queer sessions, alongside workshops ranging from contemporary dance to ceramics and interactive adult activities. The weekend also features a talk on “Autenticità e identità” and a series of talks and institutional greetings, culminating on June 28 with “Per un pelo” by Chalibares Company.
