Lazise Parish Church Restoration Highlights and Structural Updates

It seems that the restorations of the parish church of Lazise, dedicated to Saints Martin and Zeno, never truly end; a sort of “St. Peter’s factory,” which, as is well known, is the primary basilica of Rome, a global symbol of Christianity, and is constantly undergoing restoration and maintenance. In fact, “the factory of St. Peter” has at its active service specialized personnel working continuously as direct employees of the basilica itself, managed directly by the Vatican State. The restoration work began years ago with the conservation restorations of the church’s exterior, and at least two years ago for the complete interior restoration of the temple. Just recently, important structural and hydraulic works are nearing completion to activate the heating system, located beneath the marble flooring.
