Garda Cultural Operator Training Course Opens for Registrations

The registration deadline for the training course for cultural operators in the Garda territory is December 31. This unprecedented initiative is promoted by the Federazione delle associazioni gardesane cultura – ambiente (Federation of Garda Culture and Environment Associations), in collaboration with the Regione Lombardia and under the patronage of the Garda Community and the Municipality of Desenzano.

Course details and registration methods

Applications should be sent to the branch office in Padenghe, at via Verdi 19. The course director, who is attracting strong interest across the entire Garda basin, is Giampietro Brogiolo.

The project includes 180 hours of theoretical lessons scheduled from February 3 to June 29, 2001; 50 hours for educational visits; 100 hours of internships in museums, institutions, and cultural associations in Garda; and an additional 30 hours of group work.

The theoretical section also features a series of meetings with local history authors: Desenzano del Garda (Tosi), Lonato (Lucchini), Polpenazze (Bocchio), San Felice del Benaco (Mazzoldi), Limone (Trebeschi), Tremosine (Pilotti), Villanuova sul Clisi (Cocca), Gardone Riviera (Mazza), Garda (Gaggia).
