OTG 2025 Study Reveals Youth Employment Trends in Salò’s Tourism Sector

The OTG 2025 survey on youth employment in tourism reveals that 77% of students see good job prospects in the sector, yet only 39% are interested in working there. The study, involving 425 students from 15 secondary schools near Salò, highlights concerns over job insecurity, career development, work hours, and free time management. Additionally, 68% of respondents have considered working abroad.

The findings will be presented on January 17, 2026, in Salò, with participation from local authorities, university representatives, and sector operators. Key speakers include Mayor Francesco Cagnini, University of Cattolica’s Valerio Corradi and Giulia Morandi, and industry representatives, with Mariastella Gelmini closing the event.
