Lonato Fair Inauguration with Officials and Local Participants

The 43rd edition of the Regional, Agricultural, Food and Wine, Crafts, and Commercial Fair in Lonato will be officially inaugurated tomorrow morning, Saturday, January 13th, at 10:00 AM. This edition has also received sponsorship from the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies.

Institutional Participants and Opening Ceremony

Representing the Minister, who will be unable to attend in person due to issues related to “Mad Cow Disease,” will be his Chief of Staff. For the Lombardy Region, the ribbon-cutting will be performed by Councillor and Vice President Viviana Beccalossi.

The Provincial Councillor for Agriculture Giampaolo Mantelli has also confirmed his presence at this important moment, which marks the first of the year for the agricultural sector in the province of Brescia.

Local Participation and Official Ceremonies

As anticipated, the two Lonato citizens, Rosangela Cominelli and Oscar Mascarello, will be present. They were born exactly 43 years ago, during the period of the first edition of this Fair.

The official ceremony will take place at the entrance of the fairground on Viale Roma, at the middle schools, followed by a reception at the Sala Celesti in the Municipality, where traditional greetings will be exchanged.

Sunday Running Event

The competitive running race scheduled for Sunday, January 14th, at 9:00 AM, starting from the park, should be noted as organized by the “Lonato Running Group”.
