Brescia Companies Lead at Nautic Show 2001 in Boat and Marine Sectors

Approximately sixty Brescia-based companies are present at Nautic Show 2001. This represents about 20% across all sectors featured in both the Nautical Exhibition and the Sport Fishing Fair.

Booths and Participating Companies

While touring the booths, visitors can find, among others, the 43rd Parallelo di Bogliaco, Asso 99 di Padenghe, Cantieri di Montisola, the Community of Garda, Nautica Bleu di Lonato, Navigarda, the Cantieri Nuova Garda, the Nautical School of Desenzano, the Scuba Divers of Leonessa Brescia, and the Voglia di Vela Group.

There are also booths from United States, Japan, Norway, France, Slovenia, Belgium, and Netherlands.

Innovations and the Boat Sector

Among the new offerings in the motorboat sector are the Pershing, boats from the Gruppo Ferretti spa, and in exclusive Italian preview, «Aquariva», a vessel that seems destined to become “the myth of the third millennium.”

The Sailing sector has experienced a 70% increase compared to last year, including boats for the visually impaired; for canoes, a giant 500 mq swimming pool has been set up, with competitions and courses attended by as many as 8 qualified exhibitors.

The Italian Motorboat Federation (Federazione Italiana Motonautica) will have a large booth featuring major Offshore boats, while virtual games and activities for the youth audience will also be present.

For the first time, both the Italian Navy (Marina Militare) (with a booth showcasing models in tanks, including the famous Amerigo Vespucci) and the Coast Guard will be present.
