Restoration of Stranforio Fountain Promises Heritage Revival

The ancient fountain in the medieval neighborhood of Stranforio will be restored as soon as possible, where generations of housewives washed clothes and fetched water for their homes.

The project by architect Alberto Cristofolini will be presented tonight at 8:30 pm, at the historic Fontegonne.

The initiative is led by Councillor Ruggero Morandi and the newly formed Participation Committee of Arco Centro.

The professional will outline the most significant interventions to restore this intriguing example of the past to its original state.
