Regional Tourism Law Sparks Collaboration Between Garda-Baldo Promotion Entities
The association of merchants Asco-Unione and the Azienda di promozione turistica Riviera degli Olivi are two organized entities committed to promoting and marketing the Garda-Baldo product. In recent days, the top officials of the tourism section of Asco-Unione — President Giuseppe Bruni, the leader of the hoteliers association Giovanni Zenatello, the head of the lake district of the association Fernando Morando, and Secretary General Giorgio Sartori — met for the first time with Marco Zaninelli, the extraordinary commissioner of Apt lacustre.
The meeting proved useful for analyzing the regional law on tourism organization in Veneto, which is currently in development. “The impression,” emphasized the representatives of Asco-Unione at the end of the meeting, “is that the ongoing legislation is shaping a future in which there will be considerable emphasis on associated structures, namely promotion and marketing consortia of the tourism product.”
It then became clear that if this direction is indeed pursued, a reflection on the role of Aziende di promozione turistica should also be considered. On its part, Marco Zaninelli, the extraordinary commissioner of Apt Riviera degli Olivi, agreed on the need to pursue maximum quality within the structures responsible for promotion and tasked with operating with a shared goal.
The unification of efforts could indeed be crucial to deliver consistent messages capable of capturing the attention of both Italian and foreign potential visitors.
