Brescia Painting Exhibition at La Cornice Gallery Extends Until Month’s End
Given the enormous visitor success, the interesting tribute-exhibition to Brescia painting held at the “La Cornice” gallery in Desenzano will remain open at least until the end of the month. This year, among other things, marked the 32nd event with local painters, and Agostino and Gianmaria Zacchi, father and son, wanted to go all out, further enhancing the exhibition setup.
The parcours and the exhibited works
“It’s a sort of journey through this world,” notes Gian Maria Zacchi. “It tastes of iron and chestnuts, of dried Aole and red wine, of polenta and boiled meat, it tastes of Sunday and home.” A kaleidoscope of ever-new images, yet with a familiar and reassuring flavor, where three generations of artists coexist and celebrate each other, encompassing the entire past century.
The gallery rooms feature works by Bosio, De Lai, Decca, Squassina, Verni, Dolci, Garosio, Muchetti, Bergomi, Quaglia, among others. The exhibition remains open every day except Monday morning and Wednesday.
