Valtenesi Rescue Joins Defibrillation Study After Lyon’s Club Donation

The Valtenesi Volunteer Rescue Association has joined the «Brescia early defibrillation study» project after the Lyons Club Alta Velocità di Desenzano donated two semiautomatic defibrillators for emergency interventions in cases of cardiac arrest.

The rescuers have been properly trained and prepared to operate the devices, making it possible throughout Valtenesi to access advanced emergency care, which can significantly reduce mortality rates.

The association, which carried out over 2,600 interventions in 2000, also renewed its statutory offices, re-electing Ivan Bazzoli as president.
