Castiglione’s Giocosport Event Engages 230 Children in Sports Activities

The return of Giocosport at the San Pietro center. This event involves elementary school children and is organized by Councillor Angelo Tagliani, the Provincial Education Office, and the Province. The goal is to introduce as many children as possible to physical activity.

It features games and social moments for fun through sport. As part of Giocosport, the Quintines’ Palio will take place, involving the last-year students. The challenge will include approximately 230 children from different municipalities.

Participants and Venues

For Castiglione, there will be 116 students from Belvedere, Battisti, San Pietro, and one from Gozzolina. Additionally, two classes will come from the Cavriana school, the same number from Guidizzolo, and two from Medole and Monzambano.

Other Sports Activities

In addition to Giocosport, the municipal department has organized a youth soccer tournament from May 26 to June 10 at the Cardone stadium, managed by Castiglione Junior.
