Remembrance of Stefano Samuelli and the growth of youth sector

«Regarding Samuelli – recalled the new club president, Mario Tomacelli – he was organizing this very tournament. He was a goalkeeper for Lonato in Promozione (and on Sunday, his teammates dedicated their victory over Ciliverghe to him, ed.), but in his free time he helped us coach the kids. A young man loved by all. We thank his family (father Sergio and mother Mariangela) for their cooperation. This is the best way to remember him and keep him close,»

During the presentation press conference, Tomacelli highlighted that over the last two years, 173 boys have worn the Toscolano jersey. «Many have come through our ranks,» – added mayor Paolo Elena.

«Now we need to make a good impression with the first team. The Ugo Locatelli stadium? It still requires financial effort, but we will improve it. We have contracted several small jobs costing about one hundred million lire. Afterwards, we will need to redo the pitch. So far, teams have been able to play thanks to a derogation. We will, however, revive the idea of a sports center in Gaino,»
