Taoli Lake Wooden Piers in Disrepair Before Summer Season
The wooden piers along the Passeggiata della Pergolana in Taoli are in a serious state of neglect.
Out of six, two are unusable and cordoned off to prevent public access, and one has been dismantled.
The three remaining open are certainly not among the most stable; in one case, a partial collapse occurred a few days ago.
This situation, just days before the start of the summer season, concerns tourists, regular swimmers in the area, and passersby.
Almost all of these wooden piers are privately owned and serve as a real attraction for everyone, especially tourists and children.
Climbing on them and admiring the lake from there is a true temptation.
And danger is therefore lurking.
Among those who have been frequenting the area for years, there is concern and disbelief at the ongoing neglect of this situation.
Some tourists, who prefer to remain anonymous, suggest that it would be better either to restore them properly or to remove them altogether.
