Bardolino Hosts ‘Journalists in the Kitchen’ Culinary Contest and Conference

Today, at the «Luigi Carnacina» Hospitality Institute in Bardolino, on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, the «Journalists in the Kitchen» competition will take place, promoted by the Consorzio di tutela del vino Bardolino and the Apt Riviera degli Olivi.

The event, which will occupy the entire afternoon, involves preparing a dish (appetizer, main course, or dessert, based on local products). The jury will consist of chefs, school instructors, and representatives of the organizing entities.

Only the top entry in each category will be awarded. Taste, creativity, and presentation will be the fundamental criteria used for evaluation.

Objectives and Cultural Exchange

The aim is to introduce journalists to the hospitality of the Veronese Garda and, at the same time, to help tourism operators appreciate a less known aspect of their personality.

For once, a role reversal will occur, leading to a better mutual understanding. The winners will be announced tomorrow at the «Porticciolo» in Lazise.

In the morning, a conference will be held on «Quality in Daily Life. Bardolino and the New Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin», in the council chamber.
