Coast Guard Patrol Boat Arrives in Gargnano for Lake Safety Mission

After a series of setbacks, yesterday afternoon the Coast Guard patrol boat from the Marina arrived at the port of Bogliaco di Gargnano. The imposing vessel, departing from the shipyards of Adria, in the province of Rovigo, traveled along the Transpolesana highway, which cuts through the Venetian plains, on a vehicle escorted by the Polizia Stradale. In Peschiera, it was launched into the water using cranes from the Navigarda shipyard. Officially, it will begin service on Monday, June 25, about ten days later than the initially planned date (June 15). However, if needed, it will be immediately available. We remind you that the emergency number to call is 1530, which is directly connected to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The abolished number was 800484848. The captain is Marino Diomede, the same as in 1999 and 2000. The patrol boat joins numerous vehicles operated by the Carabinieri, the Polizia, and the Guardia di Finanza, engaged in lake patrols to ensure safety.
