Successful Twinning Event Sparks Exchange of Flavors and Culture

No one expected such great success for this initiative, now out of season. And yet, the unusual twinning with the Rimini-based fisher-cook-musicians was appreciated by everyone. This was thanks to the charm of the guests, combined with the quality of their cuisine. The Romagna group arrived bringing fish caught by themselves in the Adriatic, offering a very interesting exchange of flavors. And the crowd responded wholeheartedly, even exceeding the organizers’ expectations (the evening saw participation from the Municipality and the involvement of the Manifestazioni Committee, as well as the fundamental interest of our Rimini-Torbole lifeguard Paolo).

Participation and Atmosphere of the Evening

Many were drawn by the large, enticing grills prepared by the fishermen, others perhaps by their sincere and spontaneous friendliness or their music, which engaged everyone present, dancing and enjoying a good fish dish, until two in the morning. The evening’s main participants remained enthusiastic themselves.

The Future of the Twinning

The celebration concluded with the promise to reciprocate the visit, with a group from Nago-Torbole bringing our flavors to the Adriatic, hoping to establish a lasting twinning. With this last very successful event, the season’s appointments are definitively concluded, and it was certainly a grand finale.
